I love love love my new skirt! I know a lot of bloggers I see don't seem to wear the same thing more than once, my question: how?! Okay I understand it's nice to wear something different every day but 1. Average people don't have that luxury 2. If you love a piece of clothing surely you'll want to wear it again? and 3. I absolutely love finding new ways to put things together! I digressed there slightly, but back to the point...I've had this skirt less than 2 weeks and must've worn it more than 3 times already! (It has been washed, swear). Another of my beautiful birthday goodies and just so summery! The paisley print is on trend - though I love anything with a print and it goes with almost anything. Not too short, flowy and flattering? Can't go wrong there my lovelies!
So that's why I have two different belts, because I took pictures on 2 of the 3 outings it has had already! I originally bought the Hollaback belt to go with a dress I bought for town, but it didn't look as I initially thought it would. Also, one of the press studs broke off (not good, RI) but I got myself a hammer and fixed it up, I just adore Moschino belts, so this look-a-like was perfect for me and I was not prepared to send it back! And who doesn't love a Gwen Stefani reference? I bought my other belt (Asos) to go with my dress too, but ended up without a belt altogether! But still, I needed a stock up anyway! I like the arrow effect on the belt, and it made me feel slim as I bought a medium (expecting stingy sizing) but it was actually quite roomy so I'd recommend sizing down for this one ladies!
And the bag, don't forget the bag! My beloved Primark satchel (yes, Primark) was on it's last legs so naturally I asked for a Cambridge satchel for my birthday - yeah, right. I couldn't find one anywhere that I liked but my brother went and got me this beauty from Topshop and I love it! My old satchel was brown so it went with everything, but I just adore the red, and it's so summery! Also, it's very structured, so I think it will last me a while and looks more reminiscent of Cambridge satchels. I can still dream!
Anyway, It wasn't quite warm enough for me to bare my legs so tights were my only option, paired with my brother's Florence tee, Chelsea boots and denim jacket for a chilled, comfy look for college. My belts have gone down so well with my friends so I'm glad I splashed out a bit of money for them!
On a different note: stores have now got festival/holiday styles in stock and it's making me so impatient for V-festival and Ibiza! There's some lovely swimwear in H&M (loving the Beyonce collection) and Urban Outiftters have my ideal festival style wardrobe; I'm lusting after a Kimono! Just thought I'd share my excitement!xo
