I know I wear this skirt a lot, but it's my absolute favourite! I will definitely be packing this to V-fest as Company tells me Paisley is one of the festival prints this season and it's so easy to find things to match (or not, as this post makes quite clear). Another of this season's trends is 'matchy matchy' as it's been dubbed, but honestly clashing is so much more fun, and more me. I wore this to go to Meadowhall with mum on Wednesday and I figured since we'd be inside and the weather's been looking up lately I'd get the legs out! Why not, right? I'm unsure as to if my flatforms are too wintery to wear in summer; I mean they're a grey felt-like material, but I just love them so much! Therefore, I'm on the look out for some summer flatforms, ones which are open toed or what not... so if anyone knows of any (cheap ones) feel free to let me know! Also, I have an undying love for frilly socks. They're just so girly and cute. I've been against the socks and sandals trend that seems to be appearing, but maybe I could make an exception if the socks are as cute as these. Adorable. Anyway, I don't know what possessed me to put this skirt and top together, and on seeing it my mum didn't look too impressed..but I like it, in a strange way - and as my newly made-over blog suggests - 'never mind the fashion' is to show that trends don't need to be followed; start your own! Matching is in..so I'm clashing, it's just what I do!xo
so cute, love your flatforms <33
