An Unlikely Pair.

I know what you're thinking, I said I never wear jeans, and I don't! Well, I didn't.  But then I found Topshop's 'Joni Jean'.  It was jean love at first sight.  Some may say a miracle is upon us.
             Why I love the Joni Jean: 

• They're super, super skinny. And I mean cannot-breathe-when-you-sit-down skinny.  I realise that may not sound like a positive, but it is pretty impossible to find skinny, skinny jeans!
• The super-high waisted nature of them - sucks in the tum tum and who doesn't love high waisted!?
• Acid wash - the 'worn' and vintage look is one I love.  If something looks new, chances are I won't like it as much.  
• The price. £36 and £32 with student discount is definitely a plus for me.  

So they're my reasonings for loving the jean.  I paired them with a simple Florence tee (recycled from my brother's wardrobe) and very, very muddy (but lets say 'vintage looking') converse for a simple look.  As minimalist as I will ever appear.  I had to wear my new Lana Del Rey-esk pastel chain to add that 90s grunge inspired feel to the outfit.  I must say though, I had to bed these jeans in, A LOT.  Once on, they're fine.  But major skinny jean dancing is required to fit into these bad boys.  Fashion just doesn't take the fact that real girls have curves, however, once in the jeans I guarantee a feeling of great satisfaction!  The denim is so soft, different from some which can feel awful against the skin.  I adore my yellow choker too (sale, £1.50!) bought this week.  Haven't had a chance to wear it yet though.  

Now, I have a uni interview next week, so I've been touching up my fashion knowledge looking at the new collections, so when I discovered Elle Collections I thought my Christmases had all come at once!  The best shows, trends, etc. all in one magazine.  A bit pricey at £7, but worth it if it helps me get into uni!  I recommend looking at Louis Vuitton's ss13 collection; magnifique!  xo
