Bag Lady.

/ Jumper, Topshop/ Skirt, Urban Outfitters/ Flatforms, River Island/ Satchel, Camden Market/
Tartan is my new favourite thing. I have tartan leggings and a tartan skirt.  Next I plan to find myself a scarf. I've seen people around college with them, they can just make a simple outfit "pop" with a splash of colour and interest; LOVE.  I did want a kilt style skirt to be totally traditional, but I find skater skirts suit me more, so I tend to stick to what looks best.  Another Christmas present, not hinted at to mum by me, at all.. Lets just say I've taught her well, okay? I wanted to pair my skirt with my white polo and a black V-neck jumper, but seen as I don't have any V-necks at all, my trusty blue flecked number from years ago would have to do.  I love the preppy look which tartan brings to any outfit.  Makes me feel like  Brittany Murphy in Clueless! I like my flatforms with this look because they add to the preppy vibe, but the snow is effecting EVERYTHING lately, so I've been having to wear my knee high boots with everything.  You know, it's hard to try and find 7 outfits a week to go with them.  So I ended up teaming them with this look.  Don't want to be falling on ice now do I? Again..
Now this satchel, is the satchel of all satchels.  It was another Christmas present, though I was present when it was bought, but that's not the point.  I got it when me and mum went to London for an open day at UCA Epsom (which I now have an interview for, eeeep!) As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it.  On a stall full of beautiful original leather bags; big and small, traditional and more quirky, I set my sights on this one.  I didn't clock what the price was, and to be honest, I didn't care one bit.  I've been asked if I painted it myself.  Gotta say, I've been tempted to take credit for its' beauty, but haven't as of yet.  The colours used are so warm ad pretty; contrasting lilacs and burnt oranges..ah heaven!  Also love the innovative opening of using a belt buckle!  The strap is a buckle too, I just think it's God's gift to me, haha.  I'll leave you all to dribble xo
