I think this necklace is just adorable. My mum bought me it years ago in the sale; bless her heart. And I've completely worn it out. The ribbon is quite disgusting really, but let's just call it vintage and be done with it, okay? P.S. Told you my nails are always painted. I'm channeling my inner Barbie with a pale pink with glitter on top.
I've gone and done it again. I'm nearly fully in head-to-toe Topshop. Don't get me wrong, I love Topshop or I wouldn't have so many clothes from there, but I'd rather mix it up a bit, you know? Also, notice I'm not hiding, don't let that scare you off please. Thought maybe it was about time I showed my face, it's not deformed or anything, I just prefer not to, so there it is folks. And finally, I realised my pictures may actually look half decent if I use a camera instead of my phone...But usually my phone is just so much more convenient, but yes, better pictures. Still not a great camera though.
So my choice of clothing. I got so many jumpers for Christmas I can never complain about being cold again. Seriously I have one for everyday of the week so be prepared to see a lot. This is one of my favourites though. The soft, cool colours constructed into the knit are wonderful. All of the fleckles are so subtle, but change the jumper completely than if it was just a plain knit. As well, it is comfy and soft too. I mean, wool is warm, but can be really scratchy sometimes, taking away from its other properties. It's also a bit longer at the back than the front which I adore because it hides any VPLs which I may not have noticed! (VPL; visible panty lines for those that are like, WHAT IS THIS?!) tehe.
The leggings are fabulous too. They remind me of the hounds-tooth trend, even though they're not, and have that Op-art feel to them too. As my brother said yesterday (bearing in mind it was new years day) "I can't even look at those. I like them though." They do kind of play tricks on your mind, especially because of the monochrome colour scheme. Now I always love a bit of ankle of display, so these are perfect. But I do find that turn-ups make my legs look shorter than they actually are...
Shoes, shoesssss. You've already seen these, and I have a feeling you will see them a lot more too. I think I will probably wear them out before we even see February. Just so beautiful, and add height too!
When I first put my outfit on, I ummed and aah'ed over whether I liked it or not, but I've decided I do. What's not to love about a flecked jumper and monochrome patterned, velvet leggings eh? Nothing. xo
I agree, I feel a bit like the shop has 'thrown up' on me if im wearing all the same brand.
ReplyDeleteSaying that, I love your outfit. You pull these leggings off amazingly, and I cant wait to see how you style all your new jumpers! x
