I took so many photos leading up to/during Christmas that I thought I'd just put them all into one post! So many beautiful clothes, accessories etc. I received, right? Definitely got spoiled to the max. One thing I really did love was my Company re-subscription. It's my all-time favourite fashion magazine so I appreciated it so much. Love getting it and seeing all of the latest trends before everyone else! Bonus was getting the Nicola Roberts Dainty Doll make-up; I'd wanted some since it was released, hehe.
1. This was before Christmas and I didn't get it, but I intend to with my Topshop voucher my friend gave me! I love dungarees, but never thought I looked "right" in them. This in mind, when I saw the skirt instead of shorts I thought I might be in luck, and then I fell in love. The maroon colour is definitely on trend at the moment and I used to have some corduroy trousers which I adored, so it's good to adapt and modernise! 2. My nails are always painted. Whether it's a simple french pink colour (like right now), bright or dark, they are painted. Without fail. So getting into the festive season I painted them a metallic green colour with the gold glitter over the top. Totally reminded me of my Christmas tree! 3. Okay, so these were a Christmas present. Everyone gets pajamas at Christmas. But they HAVE to be comfy. This is the one time where comfort wins over fashion for me. But still, they are adorable! 4. De Ja-Vu much? I'll skip this one... 5. My new flatforms! I seriously love creepers. They are like mustard; you either love or hate them. But unfortunately, they just don't look right with my style. Bit too bulky. Flatforms for me are the happy medium; they have the platform, but don't have to have the bulky side to them. These are more like plimsolls than anything. Also, they have a slight sparkle in them, very Christmassy! 6. Christmas day for me. For some reason I look back and never really like my outfit. I think it's because I get so many clothes I just don't know what to wear! I do like it this year though. I opted for a baggy jumper and Velvet skirt. Always one for mixing textures, and Christmas day requires oversized knitwear. How else would I fit dinner in? Also, I adore the baby pink jumper with black. Of course I paired it with my cute new socks and flatforms, takes the complete girly edge off, just the way I like it. 7. Christmas eve. I never normally do anything on Christmas eve; it's a time to chill and watch films with family. This year I got asked to go out in town though. Would have been rude to decline, don't you agree? As usual there was nothing in my wardrobe I wanted to wear (even though I have two wardrobes, oops) so Topshop called my name. I went for a Baroque printed skater dress with lace detailing in the maroon colour I like. Skater dresses are great because they're girly, not too revealing and you don't have to suck in the flab all night! Needless to say I had a good night, and Mr Hangover didn't even come and visit on Christmas day; RESULT! 8. My favourite picture of the lot. You may have gathered that I like vintage clothing, or create that style. Well this brooch allows me to do just that, with most outfits too! The colour palette on the picture is beautiful; cool colours with that rich aubergine of the shirt which makes the outfit "pop". One of my new jumpers; the warmest, cosiest jumper I've ever worn. The fleckle in the yarns adds interest too, making it different from just a plain knit. I paired the soft looking top half with my leather leggings; gotta love a bit of contrast! 9. New nail varnish. I always complained that I didn't have a red nail varnish, I mean, who doesn't own a red nail varnish?! It's a must. So this Christmas Santa brought me one. I am a very lucky girl. Happy New Year lovelies xo |
