Shades of Grey.

Felt like mixing things up a tad today.  I don't see the point in just wearing something to please other people.  Fashion is a way of expressing who you are through your clothes; it says a lot.  The down side of living in a small town is that you get funny looks from quite a few people if you're not wearing stripy/american flag/cross/any other fad style leggings and a Jack Wills or Hollister top.  So pretty much if you try and be different.  But on the other hand, the few people that do appreciate you trying to be yourself and compliment you mean a lot.  Another thing, at least I get noticed.  That's something I always struggled with while growing up.

Rant on society: OVER.
Back to fashion!  I needed a white shirt, I didn't have a white shirt, so I improvised and wore my leavers shirt from school! Granted, it was a little bit on the tight side (I love food okay?!) but it did the job I needed it to.  Layering on top of the shirt is my "dancing in the moonlight" top and denim jacket.  They're so timeless and make any outfit look more casual and just plain cool! But clashing that with my lady-like tweed style skirt (Topshop) adds the girly style which I live for.  That wasn't enough for me today though, so I dug up my bow patterned tights! (no stripes or american flags in sight!) I just find them adorable.  Once again, the studded slippers show themselves because I love them.  Partly because I can't afford new shoes either! I know the whole look is very, er, grey? But I did but a bright coral Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick on to brighten it up a bit.  But you don't wanna see my face, trust me! P.s. Extra long post because it's been ages since my last one! (Blame my job) xo
